I'm looking at the light switch wire cluster and wondering what color wire do i tap into for the interior dash lighting (installing two new gauages).

just use the spade terminal in the factory fuse box, the one next to the dash light fuse. this is for your camaro right? tapping into wires is the last way i'd do it, personally.

it says instrument and is a green wire coming off the spade???

sounds like you have it, the green wire must be from somebody elses add on, i don't think the factory tapped off of it there, but i very well could be wrong. on my 68's fuse panel, its the spade that sort of sits by itself on the lower left corner of the panel, right next to the short fuse, which is the fuse for the dash lights. its not in line with the "batt" and "acc" spades, in the middle. throw a volt meter on it and turn the dash lights on, that will tell you for sure. but, from the sounds of things, you already have it, so cool graemlins/thumbsup.gif

i got that, its gray actually, i'm having problems with the guages though.
