Does anyone know if the 69 camaro has a separate wire for the high speed fan on the heater. If so where is the connection at?

Mark C Aug 6th, 01, 03:28 AM If it has A/C it does, otherwise it just bypasses the resistor on top of the heater box inside the car and is fed through the switch on the dash. A/C cars have a 25 amp fuse in the wire gutter on the top of the firewall above the distributer. Fed directly from the battery thru a relay on top of the A/C suitcase. The relay is picked up by power from the control switch in the dash. ------------------ Mark Canning 1969 Indy Pace Car 350/300HP RPO Z11 [This message has been edited by Mark C (edited 08-06-2001).] 69CamaroSS Aug 6th, 01, 04:14 PM I'd check the fuse first. Then check to see that you are getting voltage in/out of the relay on the heater box. Mine would click like it was working, but still didn't work. Messed with everything else for quite some time before going back to the relay for a second look. |
