I need help figuring out which terminal is what on the side of my 1970 TH400. I have two terminals, one vertical, one horizontal.

I guess it depends on which way you have the connector stuck in the tranny.... http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif
The vertical spade terminal should go to the detent solenoid ( an oval metal can) and the horizontal one should go to the pressure switch (looks like an oil pressure or water temperature sending unit) inside the tranny.

So now that I know which terminal is what, what are they wired to? I do have the kick down switch on the back of my gas pedal. Is the other terminal neccessary?
