what can be cut and my ignition wont work wright i had to install a butten to start car. any help?

John to be honest with you, I had the same problem with my camaro and I also run a button to start the car. I have no clue as to what could be the problem. But the button works fine on mine, and sometimes if I'm lucky the car will start with the key. But like I always say, if it works, let it ride.
