Hey Guys,
I noticed that DR Classics sells the quartz circuitry for the '67 gauge clocks. Has anybody done this conversion? If so, how do you get the clock apart without breaking it?
Thanks,

Thanks Ev. Dan here is link to pics I took when I installed cheap ($2) clock guts from walmart instead of paying $100 to have mine rebuilt. You slip the hands off with a wide flat blade carefull, they are just pressed on. The motor is held in place by a swivel piece of metal, remove the motor and then play with the new plastic box to hold it in place. I painted the hands on my new clock to try to match color of original ones. Those wont fit the new clock stem.

Mine runs a year on one battery and keeps good time. Hardly noticeable either, Its an option this way but wont get you points in a contest, unless they dont notice it, graemlins/thumbsup.gif
