I definitively agree with "Scoop69RS-SS" and obviously with "DJD"...

Mabye the General Tech section should be closed?
What subjects would fit in the General section that wouldn't be better discussed in the other sections?
Maybe it should be renamed?

I don't know, it's tough. All the Mods are great people and I get the feeling they would rather not be heavy handed, ala, delete and mail back to author. To their credit I'd say. It's the business concern that had me voice such an unpopular view point. Heavy handed was not my intent at all.

If Ground Up has product that it industry competitive, they should get the business. To that end, I'd like them to have better links to parts.

I would also suggest a mild re-layout of the pages. I have no idea in the world if this is possible. I'd say...

Put a box directly above the top message to do an instant search of that area.

Put a box to check that will take you directly to Ground Up to order a part. If the part isn't offered by them, Ground Up will move the request to (un-named) competitor, (negotiated for a price, sales lead, bird dog fee, etc...) Make more sales uis my point.

Rule One: (Said before.) Play nice in the sand box.

Rule Two: Please post in the proper location. Have your title provide base info.

Rule Three: When possible, please support our gracious host, Ground Up.

Note:

1. Missed placed messages will be taken down from the message board. It is your responsibility to submit your message to the correct area.

2. Use the search.

3. Bench racing is an area to openly communicate with those who share your passion for Camaros. Bench Racing is not intended to archive technical information so messages will be deleted after... 30, 60, 90, 180 days? What works well for the data base?

Sorry, for upsetting the apple cart.

Rick.
