I finally got my car running and after changing to the Holley Street Avenger carb, I don't have a place to hook up the vacuum for the lites. I thought about T'ing into the brake booster line. Would that work? It only uses a little vacuum when you turn them on, Right? I don't want to compromise the brakes but I just want the lites to work.

Thanks

Hi Wild,

Hooking the hideaways into that line will be fine. The original connection was picked up from the port at the back of the intake manifold and not the carb anyway. I currently have the brake line T'd as well because my Performer RPM intake didn't allow me the room to screw in the original vacuum port tree. Good Luck, Paul

Holley makes a low profile fitting to fit under their carb.

Most of the parts places like Ricks, Classic Industries, D&R, etc. make the correct fitting to screw into the back of the manifold. They have them with up to 3 ports on them, one being the threaded fitting need for the brake booster, one for the TH350, and one for the RS setup.

When I had a holley on mine I never had any interference problems with the carb, using one of these.
