mine don't seem to show up... whats with that?

Need more info. are you trying to post pics in a thread? For that, your photos need to be hosted on a web page somewhere, not in your computer.
If you have them in a host, on your screen, right click on that photo and 'copy link location' or similar words.
Then in this thread typing box click on the Image icon below and then right click into that box with your 'paste' and your photo location should show up in the box. Hit enter and it links your photo to this thread. You can practice in the TEST area here where other also are practicing.

the pics are on Webshots Community, I did like you stated and they don't show up...oh well.

You can't get a Webshots photo to show as a photo in a post here. The only thing you can do is post the link to the album or the photo.

I took this photo off of your AOL page.... it posts as a picture just fine. All I did was right-click on the picture on your page, COPY, then came back here, PASTE it in my reply then add the UBB code in front of the link and at the end of the link.

A lot of photo hosting sites will not allow directly linking to photos. This AOL HomePages obviously does because it worked for me.

Ok, must be the free site "webshots" thats the problem.... oh well.
