I have a convertible and dont understand why that section is shut down

well, it wasn't really shut down, it started as an archive of the topics from all the forums that had good info on convertibles and dennis moved them so they would be available as a reference. The plans call for a few more archived forums so we don't lose some of the great topics that are buried in the regular areas.
