Here are pics of the floor boards of my '69:

As you can see the floor is grey in color. The rust you see here is just a surface rust. I am going to wire brush that off and then paint. Should I use grey or black? And, any certain brand or kind of paint?

Here is a small rust spot that has gone clean through:

Any suggestions on an easy fix?? This is on the passenger side front corner.

Overall they look pretty good. That one are is going to need to be cut out and replaced.

As far as paint.... POR15 or Eastwood's equivalant.....

I used POR15 gray on mine....

Dan, That's a pinhole compared to what mine looked like. You will have to cut that out and replace it. You only need the right front pan section. You are very lucky the rest looks really good. Be careful when you cut it out because the cowl extends down under there where the toe board, cowl and floorpan tie together. You can drill out the spot welds in the front and then cut around the sides to remove. Give me a shout if you want some help. Jim

You're also going to need a four post eagle lift to work under the pan as well... ;) (I hope this works on the wife as well) graemlins/beers.gif ...Zuma
