MStarmer Apr 5th, 01, 07:27 AM Anybody ever install a Ididit steering column in their first gen? I have a 68 with a non tilt column that I need to have gone through new switches etc... I thought it would just be easier to get a new tilt one with all the wiring and everything done and not worry about it... Anybody used one? How do they mount to the dash and firewall? I e-mailed Ididit but haven't had a response yet. Thanks MStarmer 68softy Apr 6th, 01, 06:30 PM I put an Ididit in my 69 Nova and it fit perfect. It bolts up the same as a 1st gen camaro. It took me about 2 hours to remove the old and put in the new. If you have any questions call Ididit and talk to BOB. He is in charge of the shop and is very helpful. I am going to put one in my ^8 Camaro soon. Good Luck!!! blown41 Feb 6th, 06, 10:02 PM i put an ididit tilt column in my 68.it was for a 41 willys i am going to build it has the chevy harness which plugs directly into the factory harness.it is 28" which is a little shorter than the stock column(seems to work better. part # is 10328B for column and the mount is part #ICM225.e-mail me if you need more info cdl2002@direcway.com | ||
