Is this correct for manual trans in 1969?
Standard interior - black ball.
Deluxe interior - chrome ball.

Nope.

Chrome ball = console (cause the pattern was on the plate on the console)

Black ball with engraved pattern = no console

Standard vs Deluxe was not part of the equation.

I have been corrected.

i have a black, and chrome balls(hmm),laying around and both have shift patterns. maybe the chromi is after market ?

68 should be same as 69, but I do not know 68s as well. 67 was different. Anyone know 67s and 68s??

The 69 chrome balls were put on by the factory, but what you buy today is repro. I bought mine through YO and it looks real nice.
