I need help,I'am trying to replace the felt/rubber channel that the glass rides up & down in,I have removed two screws one at the front of door,one thru door,and one in the lower inside of door.I don't want hoss it out and break something.

In my Nova, I did the same thing. After the screws were out I pryed it out with a screw driver. They are pressed in pretty good. They can be straightened if bent.

I did this not too long ago. I removed the vent window assembly without removing the window glass. There are three main bolts holding the assy in. Two on the front jamb area and one under the door panel. There also are two philips screws, one under the door weatherstrip (in the jamb) and one on the painted area of the upper door. You also can remove the studs to make pulling the assembly out of the door easier. Wiggle the assembly loose and lift up. You will need to rotate the assembly to remove it from the door. I remember that this was a little tricky but don't rush as you may damage paint. In removing the old window run weatherstrip there is a screw at the rubber tip at the top of the weatherstrip. Save this screw you need to re use it.
