I have the interior of my car completely out. Including heater core box. I want to put a new firewall pad and heater core box in. Whoo makes a good quality pad and is anyone repoping the heater core box yet. Mine is rusted badly.

I don't think they are. I bought one from Classic or D&R and they said "It's rebuildable" Well it was as bad as mine except mine was a little rusted through and this one wasn't. Came with a good core though but I had already bought a new one and seals so...

If you can find a repop box go for it! Don't know about the pad. Also think about better soundproofing under the carpet too.

I bought the pad from both classic and national parts and they both suck..they were both to small to fit correctly, wish i knew what to tell you.
