Does anyone make a VERY good repro standard door panel? Like the original with just cardbord and no foam behind it? (actually 68-69 had a very thin layer of foam) but not as extreme as the repros..

69X11SS Dec 23rd, 02, 02:39 AM PUI makes the best fit and appearance for the standard door panels. I have used several sets and most recently a set of Ivory ones in the 69. Everyone has asked if they were NOS parts. I've yet to find one with the correct "V" chiseled lines. PUI came out with their "Gold" edition door panels recently, but according to Rick at Rick's First Gen., they are not exact reproductions either. They look better than the standard sets, but still don't have that chiseled look like the originals. I suppose once you have them on the car they would not be as noticeable, but if you put them side by side with originals, you can definitely tell. -Marc 1967 Panther Dec 23rd, 02, 08:22 AM That's to bad.
