Does anyone know who reproduces a drivers side lower kick panel for an air car?, I've seen them for cars w/o air, they run about $90.00. But I can't find one for a black 1968 w/ air. thanks chris

is there a difference? I didnt think they changed the kick style untill 70 with air , a guy at the local hangout has a 68 with air and his kick panels look just like mine on my 67...(without air) just the pull thing and the vent hold for the fresh air..

is there a A/C vent on them?>

I have kick panels with 2 vent levers a vent and factory speakers. As far as I know they are orig to the car and it doesn't have air. Is that the style you are looking for? I haven't seen them on any other cars that I can remember...

I just purchased repro kick panels for my '69 and they have two vent levers. What does the second lever hook to? The ones I replaced only had one lever and I believe they are from a '68. Like Chris, I have seen a few '68s and couldn't tell a difference from air to non-air. Every catalogue I checked does show for non-air only though. No idear what the difference would be. I'm sure someone here will set us straight.

A/C cars do not have the kick panel vents or levers. You may be able to modify a new one to work but it would be cobbled together. Reproduction A/C kick panels are not available. Best bet is to find good used A/C kick panels and paint/dye them. If they are parting out the car be sure to also pick up the RH kick panel flapper valve and the cowl flapper valve. GM no longer makes a replacement for these and you can usually pick them up really cheap.

One vent lever opens and closes the vent in the kick panel. The second opens and closes the duct feeding the "Astro" vent on each side of the dash.
