I am trying to get a seat in my camaro what would you "experts" suggest? I am even looking for newer yr seats if i have to.

Try searching the archive on the interior or general tech sections of this site. There are many posts regarding seats.

Just a few days ago there was a post about a fellow who mounted a 4th gen Firebird console and seats in his 1st gen. They looked fantastic and very comfortable!

Choptop is correct. There was a post about this in April about the 4th Gen Firebird seats. It was super. I want to do the same thing. In the post, there were pictures of what it looked like after the install.

i have been going thru the same thing, seems the only good solution is replacing them with after-market goods. They don't look like the originals but then again they won't break like them either. I hate to admit it but the seats suck as far as all the camaros go, good luck on your search, it took me two years to get something decent.

If you are thinking of aftermarket seats, take a look here - they have lots of options and you can get brakets for a first generation Camaro.
