Well I screwed up...I bagged my original dash nuts (the ones that go thru the dash not the ones for the ears) and don't know what I did with them. I have heard you can get these at hardware stores but don't know what they are called?! I don't see them in Ricks or YearOne etc... I have a new OER Dashpad from Ricks and need to fasten it down. Also what are the 3 or 4 clips for?
Thanks,

If I'm not wrong, the nuts are called, single thread crown style. As for the clips, if it's a 69 it needs 6 clips to hold the dash pad. The 68 needs two clips to hold the side ears but I haven't seen any supplier who includes them with the dash pad.

I bought an OER dash pad.(returned it though) The pad came with the nuts. The side fasteners were molded into the pad.I believe the factory nuts were called PAL nuts.I dont think they would work on the OER pad.
