I hope someone can help me. I searched thru most of the topics and can't find any info on how to disassemble a clock. I removed the screws in the back that hold the unit to the plastic face but I dont know how to remove the arm that contains the hands of the clock. If anyone knows how to do this please let me know or if you know of anyone who will rebuild my clock for a reasonable price let me know. Thanks alot and thanks to Team Camaro!

Howdy and welcome to TC check out the Clock pictures in my interior folder here for pics of my clock. Rebuilding them can be done, its pricey.
I bought a cheap $2 clock body, battery operated, at the hobby shop, maybe walmart too. The hands are just pressed on, a small flat blade knife should lift them off slowly. I replaced the original clock motor with the battery operated one, it actually fit under the hold downs very nicely. I can change the battery from under the dash laying on my back on the floor boards.
Others have had the clocks rebuilt with quartz guts. This outfit does it for you www.clockwks.com (http://www.clockwks.com)

I felt my Rube Goldberg idea looks great and an easy fix.
Good luck.

The Clock Works. $74 including freight. You must be careful not to let your battery run low because that will burn the movement out. They use nos movements or convert to quartz.
