Does anyone know any tech information on replacing 1st Gen bucket seats with 4th gen bucket seats?

If you can get a hold of Car Craft Magazine issues for 1997, they have a first gen LT-1 conversion and 4th gen seats.

I have seats and console from a 2000 Trans-Am in my 67 Camaro. The front 2 bolt holes in the floor will line up perfectly. The back part of the seat track on the 4th gen. seats are raised up a few inches due to the way the floor is in the newer cars. I made a spacer that bolted to the 1st gens. floor and it went back about an inch and up about 3. Then I just used the power adjustable part of the seat to level it out. I didn't want to make the spacer any taller because I felt it would give it too much movement and maybe bend or break. I am going to redo this set-up to make it where I can get the T/A's seat track covers back on. I just wanted to see how it would look with them in.
