Hello 1st time user, I'm repairing my back 1/4 window rollers. I'm having a terrible time trying to get the nut off. It looks like a thick flat washer with one hole on both sides of it. I cannot locate a proper tool for it. I have contacted a couple of local parts shops and they have no idea what it is called. Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks, jcclopez

You can try to get a vice grip on the nut. If that doesn't work, take it to an auto glass shop and let them remove it.

I took mine off by wetting the rubber gasket and using a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the retainer.

The parts houses sell a window nut removal tool for under $15. I bought one from Rick's and it worked fine. You still have to WD-40 them though.

I used a spanner wrench that came with my grinder. I just had to tap the pins a little closer together.
