Let me start by prefacing this by saying this website is no way involved but
i did ask permission first before posting. i'm trying to get a group buy
on leather seat covers for 4th gen. f-body seats. i'm including the email Eric
sent me regarding the prices and options available. the main reason i'm doing
this is the seat pattern i want is from the 98-02 Camaro which is more
expensive and not widely known. They use the 93-97 seat pattern for the Camaro
which i do NOT like. so they would have to do a special order but if enough
people would like to get the 98-02 pattern it would bring the price down. if
you have any questions don't hesitate to call Eric. i would like to start a
listed of interested people and when we reach a reasonable number you can place
your order.

p.s. i have place this info on www.pro-touring.com (http://www.pro-touring.com), www.ls1.com (http://www.ls1.com)

thanks,
thomas

We are delighted to see that you are interested in our products and services.
The group buy that you may choose to coordinate will be good for any Camaro
interior that we have a pattern for. You will need to collect a list of
interested members and once you reach the threshold you deem satisfactory
then you will contact me with the list. You will then have everyone on that
list call in with their final order and payment information. Each member
will be charged separately and the product will be shipped according to each
members preference. The group buy structure is as follows...

I ask for a photo of the 98-02 seat pattern and this is what they sent me.

now doesn't that look nice. much better than the '93-97 seat pattern that you usually get.

thanks,
thomas...

What do you get for the price posted? 2 fronts and 2 rear seats? Just the fronts? What about color choices and inserts like houndstooth?

I am installing 4 gen front seats in my 1st gen and want to match my ivory houndstooth interior...

I was looking at these guys www.katzkin.com (http://www.katzkin.com) but it looks like their pattern for the new style seat is pre '97...

Also what timeframe are you looking at? My money's not available until Apr/May...

you are correct the seat pattern they use is the 93-97 pattern which to me is boring. the pattern that's in the pic is a special option which is not widely known (big mistake if you ask me). it cost a little more but i think it's worth it.

the price includes front, rears, and door inserts.

goto their website for color choices.
no houndstooth insert, :( which bums me out cause i just found a place has a green/black houndstooth which will go perfect with my dark green interior. now i got to decide if i want to stay somewhat original and use my old seats or update to 4th gen seats and have someone install this houndstooth pattern for me.

there hasn't been a time frame put on it. it's basically get a list of people and when they feel they can't wait anymore orders will be place. trying to get at least 10 people (it may take a while to get enough to be affordable). with me posting this on two other forums and waiting for it to show up on www.ls1tech.com (http://www.ls1tech.com) which it has. i would go there, cause the guy at the company has posted it and will be answering questions.

if there's anything else i can answer don't hesitate to email me or goto the mention site.

thanks,
thomas...
