: What do I need to mount console?

I bought a used 67 console for my 67 plain jane about 2 years ago. I'm getting close to putting the car back together and since it did not have a console originally, I was wondering what do I need to mount it? I just bought the console itself with no mounting hardware.

As I recall, there is a u shaped bracket that attaches to the hump. This bracket has points on each side that line up with the screw holes in sides of the console. Other than that, I think the other attachment points are in the bottom of the console to the floor. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. You can get the bracket from a Camaro parts house if unable to get elsewhere.

Here is a pic of my interior (or lack of) showing the U bracket that bolts to the trans tunnel. http://members.nbci.com/robr54/project/insid399.jpg The back of the console is screwed down by opening the console lid.
