Has anyone figured out a way to fold back the standard bucket seat in a 69? On our upcoming 3000 mile trip to Seattle, Im thinking that would give us a better way to nap. If it can be done easily, then reversed to upright again, that would be ideal.
Ideas anyone?

Probably can't do that without disconnecting the seatback ? Did attempt to use the back seat on my 69 in the late 70's. That didn't work out either. But thats a story for a different site.

Sounds comfy. Oh the fun you're going to have driving through Montana...it's a wide state. Did you know the width of Montana in VERY close to the same distance as driving from NYC to Chicago?? Hey, I drove a 68 Camaro from FL to WA, (3600 miles) in 4 1/2 days alone in August '01 with no radio and no reclining seats! smile.gif Good luck

Throw a couple late model seats in for the trip, then put the originals back in later.
