I am about to rebuild the entire interior in my 67 RS Convertible. Does anyone have experience with the kit sold by Classic Industries or another source? I have heard that the repro dashpads are not very good. I am looking for recommendations on the purchase as well as any words of wisdom on the installation. Thanks

The re-pro dash pads are on the crap side. Huge difference between them and an original, but then, if you cant get an original, and its not black, then you might have to settle for a re-pro.

Im sure that most interior kits come from 1 to 2 different vendors, I have a deluxe int. in my car and the door panels and stuff came from Al Knoch, and seems pretty nice. The colors are right on, and other than that, cant say anything bad about them.

Although I haven't had to replace my whole interior, I did purchase a pair of door panels from Classic. They look great as far as match and quality. The door panels are actually backed in plastic as opposed to cardboard like the originals. They seem to be indestructable and should wear well. However, they are a bit thicker than OEM and the holes for the retaining clips did not line up perfectly. If you take your time with the install, the door panels will turn out great. Being close to Classic, I have purchased many items from them and I have not yet been dissappointed.
