I am getting ready to repaint my interior and will begin with several of the smaller parts such as heater box, rear glass corners, console, etc. My question is what is the correct percent of gloss to have the paint mixed? I am going to use laquer and I have heard it was 60% gloss and I have heard it was 80%. Can anyone tell me for sure was it was originally? Thanks for the help Steve

I am not sure but I do recall hearing that the top of the dash and maybe the front, too, was like a black velvet.

I HAVE USED PRE-MIXED INTERIOR LACQUER PAINT
THAT I PURCHASED FROM D&R CLASSIC,THE STUFF
GOES ON GREAT AND MATCHES THE ORIGINAL INTERIOR PARTS THAT DIDNT GET PAINTED.
I TRIED TO COLOR MATCH USING BLACK AND A FLATTENING AGENT BUT THIS SUCKED !!! DIDNT
MATCH AND WAS MORE EXPENSIVE. BY USING PREMIXED PAINT FROM D&R I THOUGHT TOUCH-UPS
IN THE FUTURE WILL AT LEAST MATCH.
I THINK THE FACTORY CONTENT WAS 70-30
