My instument panel is very sun faded. I need to paint it. I did a search and read all the posts where everone say how important the plastic adhesion promoter is. That is available everywhere and I certainly will use it but what top coat should I use for plastic and how do I get the correct shade of black.

I don't know what Ground Up has to offer but I was very happy with the SEM, dyes and paints I got from NPD. Here's a post from a while back, you may have already found it in your searched...

There are two distinct parts of the carrier. One is pebble grained, and was painted from the factory (black, green, red, whatever). None of the other parts were painted. They were left black, and were fairly shiny. I sanded the smooth areas with 2000 or 2500 grit wet sandpaper followed by plastic polish from NOVUS. Then I had the edges rechromed by a guy in Columbus, who did great work. Finally, I masked off everything but the pebble, and painted it with plastic paint from Rick's. (adhesion promoter and primer, first.)
In my opinion, this is the centerpiece of the interior. It should be perfect.

It is the pebble stuff I want to paint. The primmer and adhesion promoter are no problem. What is the "black plastic paint". I can not find it in Ricks catalog. I ordered an NPD catalog but based on all the other catalogs I doubt I will find it. I am probably looking right at it and Don't see it. What black plastic paint did you use specifically?

It's not with the other paint, it's in the interior section. I used AP16 which in on page 9 of my catalog.
