I have recently been attempting to install new kickpads on my 1968 Camaro RS. The problem I am having is the vent is made in the kcikpad and I cannot get the vent up in the hole. Does the dash have to come out for me to be able to install the kickpads. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be useful..

John,
Do a search on installing kick panels, I think I recall seeing some tips on istallation. I'm pretty sure the emergency brake will have to be moved for the driver side to go in. I also remember reading where trimming of the outermost flanged area around the cirumference a little helps. It takes a little patience and wiggling around(the kick panel) to get it to go. Don't forget to put some sealer/putty around the hole.
Good luck,
Guy
Oh, what part of La. are you in?
