Hey i have a 79 Z28 and there is just one little leak around the drivers side t-top, what do you know of a good fix for the foam weatherstiping ... i was going to use some aircraft sealantant a small piece of plastic film to keep the two apart till they set ...anyone gone this route or is there a better way to stop gettin peed on when it rains"??? soggy bottom boy gary from washington!!!!!

I thought t-top leaks are considered normal...can they be fixed?

Well we had good weather and think the leak is fixed, ran hose on it an no more leak. The sealant worked good after cleaning the rubber with Methyl Propyl Ketone, and it matches the color of the rubber so you cant see the patch. As far as T-tops supposed to leak I rather they dont and prefer to keep the water on the outside of my car, otherwise the mushrooms will take over here in the NW.
