I have a 69 Camaro that has a 2yr. old headliner(installed by previous owner) that is sagging right over your head one my interior guy said the middle bow clip has come loose or is broken. How could you fix this and would you have to buy a completely new headliner? How much labor to install a new headliner?

It can be fixed!!!
You can most likely take it loose at the windshield, restretch it forward and glue it back. It there is lateral(side to side) sagging then you'll need to take it loose on each side and restretch and glue. It can be done at home with no more than a hairdryer, headliner glue and some of those large office binder clips to hold it while it dries.

Thanks 40coupe,it is only sagging along one bow, but the way i understand it there is a clip that holds the metal bows up right in the center of each bow and that is whats unsecure.the headliner is tight everywhere else.

If you think the bow is unsecure from its clip, you can push it back into place with your open hand without removing the h/liner.

The headliner bow/rod snaps into a plastic clip like the others have said, it may be that this clip is either missing or it broke from being brittle. If it's still there and in good shape it takes a little bit of elbow grease to snap it back into the clip. Good Luck.
