CarlC Nov 18th, 02, 07:03 PM Cut a piece of black plastic trash bag (single layer) to the same shape as the window. Saturate the tint and the bag using a spray bottle filled with hot water mixed with a bit of dishwashing detergent. Place the bag over the tint. The soapy water will help it to adhere to the tint. Let it set in the hot sun for 30-45 minutes then peel off the tint. ------------------ The Red Beast http://www.geocities.com/casanoc Bantam Nov 18th, 02, 08:19 PM i usually peel it off, providing it is on either the door window. peel it off then i get a release agent from the local paint supply it comes in an aerosol can, but you could also use bug and tar remover on a rag...i have also had aerosol window cleaner work well for me, but i dont remember the brand and some of them dont work. but the relesae agaent works great no razors needed i use a bondo spreading squegee or even a peice of cardboard to easily scrape it off. so there wont be any scratches made on the glass. ------------------ 1984 Chevy Camaro (305) SSupermanZ Nov 19th, 02, 02:38 PM I wanna avoid the razor because of the rear defrost wires....Thanks for your tips guys! |
