Hi All:
Has anyone used the "Show quality reproduction" dash pad from Rick's First Generation??? I was wonder if it justified the $130 increase over the OER dash pad they sell?? I don't have an original to recover so that is out of the question...
Thanks!!

Dschribs,
I ordered the better of the two dash pads for my 69 coupe on the 11th and on the 14th I was told by Rick's it had been discontinued due to problems. There was only a $40.00 difference in the 69. Anyway, I received the OER pad on Friday and I am happy with it. You should call on Monday and check on the 68. I'm looking at the new catalog and it looks like there are some changes to the 68 as well. Order a new catalog and then ask your question again. I'm not to familiar with the 68 convertible. Hope this helps.

I called Rick's and tried to who manufacturer's the improved 69 dash pad. The guy I talked to did not know who they sourced it from. He did say that they discontinued making it due to lack of demand. I was hoping to call them and see if they had any left or if they were planning a new run any time soon. Anybody know who makes them?

MWH:
You might want to give this place a call if you are looking for something other than the OER pads everyone else sells. Thier Corvette interiors are absolutely the best and they just started selling pads for Camaros.
