I'm doing some work on a 67 RS with AC it was taken apart several years ago & when i was working under the dash today installing the heater AC controls i found silver bullet shaped light where does it go? Also are the fan motor switches the same on a 67 & 68? This one only runs on high :confused:

The little "bullet shaped" lamp you are discribing sounds like the Ash Tray Lamp.
It is held to the top of the Ash Tray holder by a small clip.
The power wire for the lamp runs over to the Fuse Panel and plugs into the Panel Lamp location.

When the Fan Switch went out on my last '67 I could not find a new one. I was able to find a couple of switches at a swap meet for Chevrolet Pick-ups and take them apart to get the contacts and parts to fix mine.
Maybe someone knows of a source for the switrches and will chime-in here!
I'm truely not sure if the '67/68 are the same - but they look like it to me.
