tzagi,

I did not put mine in but I did watch the guy that did. He started at the front and then worked his way towards the back. One Bow at a time. He then had to trim the sides a little and then used some 3M Adhesive to hold them into place. The next to the last thing he did was put the Rubber Pieces in on the Front and back that hold the headliner in place (in their respective places) and pulled them fairly tight. The last thing he did was take a heat gun and work out the wrinkles. One good day in the good old hot texas sun got it all nice and tight.

In case you want to know, the headliner came from Year One.

Hope this helps,

Bob R

I watched my uncle install one in his '72 El Camino. It wasn't all that difficult, but it didn't look that good in the end. It worked for his El Camino becuase it was just a daily driver, but it wouldn't pass as a show job. It's hard to get them in without wrinkles and creases. I would say you can do it yourself, but I don't think an upolstery shop would charge you too much to do it.
