I have pair very old 68 seats. If I redo them will they be as comfortable/practical as new seats? Anyone have recommedations for new seats that look similar and fit the car?

If you want a stock look rebuild the old seats. They will be as comfortable as seats were in '68. You might find a good upholtery (sp?) shop that can maintain the factory look somewhat but make the old seats have better support. Doesn't sound like you want to loose the stock look, seats from any other car will do that though. I have seen many Camaros with different seats in them. Some looked much better than others and some even looked like the car could have come with them but still none looked like stock seats... I believe Fierro seats are a popular swap.
