How common/rare is it for a RS/Z28 to have a standard interior? Just wondering.

Gambitt, Since the interior was not tied to either option, its a crap shoot. But I can see where you are going. If a buyer in 69 had the money for the Z and RS options, he (or she) could have sprung a couple more $ for some more options.

It does seem that quite a few letter cars came with multiple options vs bare bones.

I agree...my car is a RS/Z28, and it seems no expense was spared...it had the special ducted hood and eurethane front bumper from the factory, why would it have been ordered with a standard interior? It doesn't really bother me, I like the standard interior, just found it kinda strange.

Not too strange, check out whats for sale around like the internet. I think some people just liked the hidden headlights. My brother in law has a 69 RS/Z that came factory with the cowl hood and a couple other options like guages ect and it has a standard interior

I think Comfortweave Deluxe interior with custom grip wheel is the prettiest interior out there, but you almost never see them.

I only like deluxe, 68-69. It is much more confortable that the standard. It also looks trick with the new seat buns installed.
IMHO
