Has anyone tried to get aftermarket door hinges to work? Any luck? I have tried them from D&R and from Classic Ind. with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks

Specifically what problem are you having? I've used Classic's and it worked great!

After installing them I can't shift the door far enough forward to align without the hinge hitting the body with the door partially closed.

I don't know what year your car is, but I have rebuilt the hinges for my 67. It is not all that hard. Quite easy in fact. Most if not all catalogs have the rebuild parts or a kit to do it.

I'm going to try to rebuild the old ones now. They are in bad shape, and I will have to rebuild some of the holes with a welder. Thanks for your help
