I have a 68 RS, the back part of the headliner I have a squeak coming from the long bar that stretches the width of the car inside the liner. It's scratching inside and squeaking from vibration and wind from open windows. I remember long ago when I owned a 67 Coupe, that was right before the very back part of my headliner blew out. A very dusty and sneezing affair, believe me. Any rememdies without breaking into the liner? Also, what are some of your favorite interior squeaks and rattles, and remedies?

All you gotta do is drop the back part of the headliner and do a tack weld to it.
The worst rattle is an exhaust up against the floor boards!

Everytime I fix a squeak a new rattle shows up, then I fix the rattle and within a few days a new squeak..... ahhhh... I think I'm just going to install a really loud stereo and try and drown it out like I did when I was a kid ;)

The most annoying squeak for me started a few months back after installing subframe connectors. Only at a certain speed, about 30 mph, coming from behind the rear door panel on the drivers side. Nothing a can of WD-40, strategically aimed through the window roller hole didn't solve!!!!

The worst rattle is an exhaust up against the floor boards! Or better yet, a 2-1/2" exhaust tail pipe in between the rear quarter and the leaf spring. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
