I have standard 68 bucket seats. I want to put black and white houndstooth in. I need to purchase new seat buns. can I change the front buns to the deluxe? what are my options? I know that the rear seat has to be standard, deluxe is different. do they have houndstooth for just the standard seats?

The front seats are the same, except for the foams. Watch ebay for a set of deluxe back seats.

When I converted from Standard to Deluxe Houndstooth on my 1969... the upholstery Shop was able to use the standard buns (so I was able to return my deluxe buns). Seems like the main difference was where the buttons are. On the deluxe buns... it has a cut out in that area. The Upholstery Shop just made a cut in my old standard buns. The finished seats are beautful.
