I am trying to make a custom center console for my 67 and I am having alot of problems in making it work. Does any know if a different year car console will work in place of a stock one with little modification work.

sosexpress, I would start out with a piece of cardboard as a template for the side pieces and then transfered them to wood. The hardest part for you will probably be the center piece. I used metal and I had to use a sheetmetal roller at work to put the roll in it. You could also just use straight cuts instead of a roll. Then you could use wood for everything. I have sold the one seen on my site, made another and sold it also. I am making another for the car now and will look different. If you need better ideas I can e-mail you some better pics.
