I have a full set of seatbelts out of a 69 chevelle.I need seatbelts for my 68 camaro. Are they totally different or just tthe retractor covers,or the retractor all together? Are all belts the same for chevelle and camaro for each year or are they model specific?

Chris, Chevelles used a different manufacturer then Camaros. JR Robbins vs Irvin. Covers are interchangable, metal parts of buckle are not. I haven't measured the 2 manufacturers to see if there was any difference, but if there was, it would be very minor. You should be able to use the Chevelle ones in your Camaro, unless you had to have originals. The side retractors are not interchangeable at all. I would offer you a set, but I have not rebuilt them yet. 68 webbing is different from 69 webbing. I have a few 68 belts too, but not restored yet, sorry.
