I've read and heard that you can use the Covan Nova dash in the '69 to get a more "DSE like" dash without the "bulge" in the middle. Covan said he's sold quite a few to do that.
I was hoping someone here had actually done it and had any feedback or tips about doing it..
I posted this on Pro-Touring and G-machines too, but havent got much feedback

They look pretty close, but I wonder how you would "trim" the dash pad to fit without the bulge?

There is no way to "trim" the existing dash pad. You have to get a new one for the Nova. From what I've read, thats the only thing you need to change. I'm getting a new dash pad anyway, so I can get the Nova one instead, if everything else fits....

If the Nova dash fits in will the Nova dash pad fit without alteration to pad or car? Is this all from a '69 Nova?

Big Gear Head has done it and his looks real good.
Go to Transmissions he is on that page a lot.
