My 68 has a delux interior, my problem is that one of my seat frames has rusted through and is broken. If I were to buy a set of 69 buckets, can I recover them with the 68 delux covers and seat buns or do I have to switch to 69 covers and buns? I really want to stay with the 68 covers, but I would like to have the 69 head rest seat. Also would it be possible to cover a 69 seat and bun with a 68 cover? Thanks in advance for any help.

It should work. 69's came with a head rest.
