Mine are steel. Just wondering, are they supposed to be flat black or are they gloss black. Mine have seen many years of abuse and have them fixed, small dents repaired and cleaned up and ready to shoot.

Well, jumped into it and hit them with semi-gloss black. Looks pretty good

Mine are the original metal seat backs with the original paint. They are a gloss black and quite shiny. Definitely not a flat or semi-gloss.
