I'm new to this site. I'm doing a body off restoration of a 68 Camaro. Whoever had the car before me cut out the dash where the radio goes I guess to install an aftermarket radio. A bodyshop friend of mine will weld a piece back in but I need the dimensions of the rectangular hole and the center to center dimensions of the round hole where the radio knob shafts go through. I have an appointment to get this done this weekend. Can someone take these measurements for me and email me - I'd greatly appreciate it.

On that centerdash, it's not just flatsteel. There are pressed recesses where the knobs go, at an angle, to mount the radio horizontal when the dash is sloping at a 30 degree or so angle. Mine's together (bout the only thing that is at this pont) or I'd post a pic, but I'm sure someone will.
