My car was originally a column shift. I am installing an original floor auto shifter (converted to 700r4) and console. Can somenone measure the distance from the shifter handle to the dash (cigarteete ash tray) while the shifter is in park?

Take a look at the center picture on this page of my site. It may help you with the proper locating points for the shifter on the tunnel. The tunnel and measurements shown are on a '69.
