I am considering purchasing custom autosound kick panels with speakers already installed for my 68....I have e mailed them to see if the speaker on the drivers side interferes with the emergency brake pedal....gee...they must be busy...they never e mailed me back..anyone use them, and what problems have u encountered?

I have not used the Custom Auto panels but I did just put a set of 5 1/4" speakers in my kick panels. There is no problem at all with the e-brake. The biggest problem is the magnet hitting the metal bracing behind them. I tried using Infinity and Polks but the mounting depth was too deep. I ended up using Sonys and they fit great. It turned out very good. John
