can anyone tell me how to mount a rear defrog. in a 67 camaro that did'nt come with one? do i need to drill new holes? i bought one off e-bay. and a vent..the vent fits but has vertical throughs not angled like the pictures i've seen, is that right? and i cant seam to line up the holes in the defroster with any on the package tray??? please help..tony

Put one in my 68 but went with the 69 tray

First off, tCamero, I hope your name is intentional..you won't get much respect here with your spelling!!

The rear defrosters simply drop in with NO modifications to the package try...Here's a dumb question..You are trying to install in in the CENTER, not one of the speaker holes, right? Sorry, had to ask..There should be 3 studs from the METAL defroster grill. If you're having problems, you may have a later version of the defroster grill. GM made forced air defrosters up until 78 I think, so there may be different designs that won't work on 67's...67-69 used the identical blower assembly and grill, after that they may be different. If you can't get the grill to simply fall into place, there's something wrong..I'd contact the seller and question his/her verification of the application..

Having spent several years in the swamp, my '67 faced a similar problem of an infestation of amphibians.

I found the best defrogger mounting method was a bit of formaldehyde and some heavy gauge pins (see "pith" in the dictionary).

On the other hand, I never ever had a problem with insects.

Dont worry about the spelling I just looked at a GoodMark box I received some parts in and it was printed 67-69 Camro??? You would at least think they could get it right
