Well fellas, here is the following question I just asked Rick's/First Generation Camaro Parts and would like some more facts (opinions included)from this forum reguarding the following:

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Anyways awhile back, I ordered a part # D-125 '68 TIRE PRESSURE DECAL (3934880) on page 242.

Well, I just found out (I should have looked before ordering...) that my standard basemodel 210/327 actually has your part # D-621 '68 TIRE PRESSURE,SS, DECAL (3934883).

My question is this: Was the factory worker having a bad day when he/she put on the sticker or did my "plane jane" actually have F70 x 14's?

SS and Zs were the only ones to have 15s.Unless there was a special option for larger tires./maybee rs/. So yea 70-14s. burn-m-up!!!!

Not and RPO, but COPO 9737 also specified E70 15's

Any ideas what #3914800 goes to? That's the number on my tire pressure decal. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Did the early SS's get 15" tires? I thought they were 14".

Only Z/28's got 15" wheels as far as regular production went... In '68 2 of 4 RPO's could have put F70x14" tires on a 327/210 car... PW7 - 2 ply white stripe and PW8 - 2 ply red stripe. Both were no charge on SS cars but added $64.75 to the sticker price.

Thanks for the wealth of advise. By the way Ricks never did get back to me.

Also on the one post about someone installing a different glove box door; I'm sure its the original as evidenced by the paint faided to match with the surrounding dash face. Also the two small dents on the face of the door.

Guess I'll have to do a minor body repair on those two "door dings"!

The sticker could have been replaced at one time. They have been selling those stickers for at least 20+ years.
