does somebody know if 2° gen front bucket seats fit a 1° gen ?

I'm 99.9% sure the answer is yes.

My '69 came to me with 2nd gen seats - not sure of the year. They looked great but my experience was that they are thicker in the seat and back. This positioned me too close to the wheel and my head hit the headliner. (I'm 5'11")

I switched back to '69 seats and then cut the drivers seat brackets for even more room.

actually i really hesitate to swap for seat i want a good driving position and nice look . DOn't wannna race buckets.
SO I don't wan't 2° gen too .
What do you think of camaro from 1993 to later ? and also the 97 - 02 corvette ?
i also don't like with those seats that they are generally power seats.

but about the driving position any comments?

also i have a blue interior and it is quite difficult to take a decision because everything is blue ! or i could try to find somebody that can paint the leather in the right blue color ?
